Terms of Service
Last updated 1 June 2026 · Vantage Acuity Apex, a division of Vantage Apex Holdings · Alberta, Canada
By using this site or engaging Vantage Acuity Apex ("Acuity," "we," "us") you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
What we provide.
Acuity produces verification reports, valuation calculations, diagnostics, and buyer/partner introductions for owner-operated businesses. Our work is an independent analysis based on information you and third parties provide. It is verification, not advice.
What we are not.
Acuity is not a Chartered Professional Accountant firm and does not issue audit, review, or compilation reports under CPA Canada standards. Acuity is not a licensed business appraiser. We are not a registered broker-dealer, and nothing we provide constitutes legal, tax, financial, accounting, or investment advice. Engage your own qualified professionals before making a transaction decision.
Your responsibilities.
- Provide accurate, complete, and lawfully-held information.
- Use deliverables for your own legitimate diligence; don't misrepresent a report as something it isn't.
- Obtain any consents required before sharing third-party information with us.
Fees & refunds.
Prices for reports, diagnostics, and subscriptions are shown at the point of purchase. Where a specific product carries a written guarantee — such as the Modeled SDE Estimate refund guarantee — those written terms govern that product. Subscriptions (e.g. Buyer Pro) may be cancelled per the cancellation terms disclosed at signup.
Matching & finder's fees.
Buyer and partner introductions are facilitated between independent parties. Transactions are conducted directly between buyer and seller. Finder's fees apply to introductions that result in transactions facilitated through Acuity's pipeline, per the terms disclosed at intake.
Confidentiality.
We handle your information in line with our Privacy Policy, including local Alberta processing and 90-day source-document purge.
Limitation of liability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Acuity's total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid for the specific engagement at issue. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on a report.
Governing law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable there.
